Calendars, blogs, and RSS, oh my!

I finally migrated the site to a content management system. You can finally subscribe to updates and a calendar of shows (there are links at the bottom of the page) using your favorite news reader. You can also integrate my performances with your Google Calendar  if you’re a die-hard fan… or my mother.  (“Kjerstin, when was that concert supposed to be again?”)

The Caltech Jazz Festival was hot, hot, hot — well, the music was hot and the metal folding chairs were really hot! Fortunately, the shade from the surrounding buildings and trees covered most of the garden, so there was some respite from the sun. The audience wasn’t deterred! They filled our chairs and brought their own or sat on the grass, spilling out of Gates Garden onto every grassy nook within earshot. A big thank you to everyone who came!
